So rich in its vocabulary, so beautiful. The setting is the main reason why I picked up this book; every book that is set on an island has this touch of magic and this one wasn’t different.
I wish the story wasn’t so disjointed and even opaque at times. And I also wish it was longer. But I will read this author again for sure in the future.

A mixture of reality and fiction, a mixture of being surrounded by friends and being all alone.

The language is beautiful, although a little difficult to follow sometimes, the descriptions are extremely rich.
