4.5 three delightful short stories. ah did i miss adventuring with percy (esp PJ and the Sword of Hades) and his humor (“The path was lined with human bones for that extra cozy feel.”)

Molto carino con alcuni racconti inediti, interviste ai personaggi e schede per conoscere meglio gli Dei, test finale simpatico
I wasn't planning on reading these short story type books in my journey to re-read all the riordanverse books, but I saw this one and The Demigod Diaries at a half price and books and decided to buy them on a whim. Anyways, I liked this book but it definitely isn't a necessity for the main story line. It was kind of weird to read about 15 year old Percy because I've already read The Lost Hero and The Son of Neptune and he changes so much during The Last Olympian and on. It was kind of like re-living a memory from another life. It was cute to see Percy and Annabeth as just friends again and seeing more of the origins of "wise girl" and "seaweed brain" (pg 34). The last story also mentioned the titan that had his brain washed and then was re-named Bob and I'm pretty sure he becomes an important character in later Heroes of Olympus books, but I don't remember why. Also when I saw the old official art of the characters I just laughed, cause it's just such a strange art style and the characters look so weird. Overall, this was a cute collection of stories (I didn't really like the interviews, they felt so fake) that's good if you just want a little taste of the Percy Jackson world, but you don't want to re-read a whole book. Seriously, I read this in like and hour and a half.

This was a nice addition to the series.
I enjoyed the additional short stories as well as all of the extra info regarding the Gods, some of the Demigods' weapons and interviews with a few of the Demigods.
Although this companion did not fill the void that was left when I finished the Percy Jackson and the Olympians-series, I still enjoyed all of the stories.
As soon as I'm off of my book buying ban, I'm going to order all of the (so far) available Heroes of Olympus books.
