Sweet with some spice. “Awkward” European princess and gruff/grumpy cab driver / super from the Bronx.

I enjoyed the story. Definitely a Hallmark romance type of book.

Princess for Christmas was definately a fun read. The book definately had a hallmark vibe expect for the steamy scene's. It is definately a cute romance but not a memorable one. Definately a one time read in a good way.

[I received an electronic review copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.]

4.5 stars - Loved it! Would re-read.
From the beginning, this acknowledges the obvious comparisons to a Hallmark Christmas movie (although the book is far steamier than anything Hallmark would show) with the princess of an obscure country and all. And I loved every page of it. The characters are terrific and have great chemistry. There's no lying or secret identity issues. The conflict stems from the characters' differences in status and follows the usual beats of the Hallmark-esque story. I thought this was delightful. The epilogue is a nice wrap up while teasing a second story which is hopefully in the works for the 2021 holiday season (although I would absolutely read it sooner if it's not a Christmas story). (Language, sex, TW: grief)

An ultimate cheesefest - expected.

This being 100 pages too long? Less foreseen.

More tan anything I felt like this dragged on in a lot of areas. It started out cute and fun but I got a little bored with it, the tension was gone partway through and yet there were still so many things to resolve within the plot.

Also, the third person changing perspectives within the chapters was super confusing.

I thought this was a cute and light Christmas read. I read it because Duke, Actually caught my eye and I found out it’s part of series. ( this could be read as a stand-alone though)

I enjoyed all the banter between Marie and Leo and am looking forward to more of their story and Dani & Max’s in the next book

The first part, while still in NY, the book was very rom-com meets Hallmark and I liked it. However when story moved locations it was just not interesting anymore and by the end I was annoyed by the amount of times Leo called Marie "princess".
