Perfect, truly. absolutely my kind of book through and through. made me feel terrible, anxious, enthralled, offered few answers and just enough conclusion to firmly lodge itself in my brain for a while. what a brilliant feat of writing, so evocative and beautifully weird. thank you blanca for telling me to read this, i read seven empty houses and LOVED it and didn’t think to read any more from schweblin and i’m so glad i’ve been given this nudge. a triumph.
