Well written mystery! I didn't see the ending coming! Fun read! I love Molly!

This book kind of frustrated me in that it felt kind of like they were making light of what literally happens to ASD folks regularly, getting unknowingly coerced/manipulated into crimes because they think the person is their friend. I appreciated the ending and was glad she ended up with JM.

Didn't vibe with the writing style. I don't believe it was very good autistic representation either, the narrator/main character did not come across as autistic, she came across stupid, and they are not the same thing.

The story was very slow to develop, felt really predictable until around 4/5ths of the way through, where it then felt rushed. Shame as the story was strong but balanced incorrectly

I enjoyed this book, the plot twist at the end really surprised me!  I don't think I've read a book before with the point-of-view of someone who is autistic (or at least heavily implied to be) - which is great representation for Neurodiverse folks. The depiction was well written, although I believe it fell into quite a few stereotypes - which took away from that slightly. Overall a good book :)

Pretty good representation of autism. The mystery was simple but the characters carried the story.

This was the fastest read for me this year! Easy to follow along, Such a quick moving story. Love the different point of view of our main character. The final twist was a HUGE shocker to end the story on.

really easy to read. did not realise mc was going to be on the autism spectrum. whilst it’s not said explicitly it’s heavily implied and it hurts having to watch her get manipulated by those around her but it was soothing to know she had others around her that did genuinely care about her
i loved the plot, really enjoyed

I wish I knew Molly because I feel like we’d be good friends.

The author did a wonderful job of writing out Mollys observations where the reader understood what was happening even though Molly did not. I can’t wait to read the sequel.

I can’t believe that the first Mrs. Black killed Mr. Black. I thought Molly was the culprit for sure especially after she admitted to killing her grandmother out of mercy. That would have been very “Of Mice and Men” of her. I wonder why the bartender tried to get Molly accused of murder if he was not the one who killed Mr.Black. That still doesn’t make sense. I’m also glad that Molly got justice on all the people who had wronged her. Also, Juan and Molly are so cute.
