LISTEN. I saw so many bad reviews of this when it first came out, and honestly if you went into this not expecting the characters to speak like evacuees and have no depth and for the plot to not be predictable, then you came to the wrong place! I came to this for nostalgia and scandal and boy did I get it. Was there inaccuracies from the original series? Yes. Did Ellie do very little emotional growth? Yes. Did this obviously leave a gaping hole for a sequel? Yes! But I dont care because I was go caught up in seeing if

my gal Jackie was queerbaiting me or not

that I didn't really care what else went down.

This should be read as pure fan service and honestly then you'll have a great time seeing what all the imaginary but deeply charming people have been up to for the last 30 years - stop expecting the world from a woman who's nearly 80 and traditionally writes for children!
