I really wanted to like this book but I just didn’t. There were some parts of the book that felt really rushed and completely skipped over but were added just to mention how Ellie’s life is now after all these years. Other elements seemed to drag on and were so repetitive. I’m glad I’d recently read the original Girls series. I feel like this book was only written to revisit a much loved childhood series but it wasn’t necessary. The book focuses more on the main characters relationship rather than including more detail of how the group of friends have developed and how their friendship has changed over the years.

This was a nice read. It was nostalgic and easy to get through. I didn't love the repeat use of womenly curves but overall a nice series to go back to.
