3.5⭐️ I’ve heard nothing but great things about this novel and I enjoyed it, but I was expecting a 5 star read. Maybe I’m dead inside. 🫠 It could have went a little bit deeper and been longer to do so. I also thought it was rushed at the end.

The writing was beautiful and it dealt with some really important topics but I was expecting this to have a bigger impact on me.

I will still keep an eye out for his next book because I think it was a good debut.
