came into this with the preconception that i knew how this book was. i was unprepared for the beauty of some of the sentences, but also surprised at the (realistic) glorification of war despite the clear psychological scars it was making.

all the characters were encouraging abusing women and animals, and before that the plot just didn’t make any sense but i had to stop once they were encouraging abuse.. i was reading it for school and i was on chapter 17 of 24 and ended up having the quiz just fine so
