I couldn't decide between 3 and 4 stars. It's good, I liked it. Was it amazing? No. Was it fun? Yes. Langoliers is weird and kind of silly but also creepy. Secret Window is neat, not particularly amazing, but a good story, and it's really well crafted as far as following the main character. Library Policeman started a little slow but interesting, and took a strange for the crazy intense and weird by the time it ended... and Sun Dog is an interesting story that was an interesting read.
I think they all run a little long, but I assume that was a payment issue at the time.
On to the next book!

The first three stories are all solid. Really enjoyed each one and couldn't put the book down but the Sun Dog was a little lack luster compared to the others in my opinion. Luckily it's fairly short so it's not painful.

This collection of four novellas is top notch. I especially loved "Secret Window Secret Garden" which was later adapted into the film "Secret Window" starring Johnny Depp. As an author myself, I really relate to King's writer-heroes and this one is one of my favorites.

"The Langoliers" is also a favorite of mine because of the eerie mood he creates but doesn't explain until the end, which is great.

3/4 of the stories in this collection are absolute bangers. Secret Window, The Longoliers, and The Library Policeman are three of his best novellas. Sun Dog is ok. Overall one of his best collections.
