Is enjoyable the right word? Not really. Absolutely one of his most grim - but I mean that in a good way. Does feel a bit hard to call it “good” because the content is just so, horrible. If you like a book that makes you feel sick, occasionally angry and quite horrified this is for you. Not for the faint of heart (literally - one story made 73 people faint during the book’s tour)

Wow, creepy. A few of the stories in here definitely make me gag. (Had flashbacks to Horror Literature class in college.)

Palaniuk obviously has captivating descriptions and shocking details in the multiple narratives from each character but the overarching story falls a little short, becoming boring at times. It was enjoyable overall but I didn't appreciate how the characters interacted as much as I did their individual backgrounds.
