This was wild!! I didn't know anything about Julia Fox going into this. She really is a great storyteller, but she also has such crazy stories to tell that it's hard to not enjoy this book. The first half of the book stood out to me, probably because Fox has had more time to process and distance herself from that time in her life. While this book mostly consists of Fox telling us her life story without much reflection, I found it very thought-provoking.

AMAZINGGGGG

I love celebrity memoirs like this because it’s the perfect reminder that these “sex symbols” and figures of feminine beauty hold so much depth, insight, grief, trauma, and intelligence that gets overlooked. What a life, what a woman

The first half of the memoir is super detailed but then the second half isn’t. The last few chapters were super rushed and every paragraph was about something different.

Julia Fox makes herself to be the victim in most of her stories, sometimes she is but sometimes she is her own worst villain and has not done the self reflection to realize it.

The book was entertaining enough.

I am amazed she is alive after all of this but thank god! What I loved most was the countless stories of imperfect women being there for each other. I shed some tears upon finishing. And yesterday she came out as a lesbian? Incredible. She is THAT girl.
