Going into reading this book I have been reading a lot of books recently I found boring or hated. So I wanted to find this book boring too. This book was not boring. This book was everything I was desperately wanting to find in a book. I felt like I was living her life and didn’t want to stop reading.

I had to pick this book up a few times, but holy shit. The pain and grief of loss from drugs in Julia’s past resonated. I cried ugly at the end.
always interesting to see what celebrities choose to reveal in memoirs and this felt refreshingly honest! really loved listening to this!

I didn’t know how I was going to feel about it at first but ended up really enjoying this. Her life is insane. I didn’t like the later chapters about more current things as much. I feel like they lacked the perspective that the earlier chapters had. But I’d be interested in what she has to say about them in the future.
