i don't have much to say cuz i'm kinda still processing what happened, but wow this was really addicting to read and just very very entertaining. and it had a message! and great art! i loved it.
This is amazing!! Exactly what I needed to read tonight. This is the type of book that I think would only get better each time you read it.
I will say that my absolute favourite line was the call back to Scott Pilgrim with "wait...bread makes you fat?"

I loved it. The main character is mental but I love her and it's just the most random story ever. The art/drawings are gorgeous. :)
I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. It was incredibly fun and had great twists and turns. I recommend it to anyone over 16 years of age.
It's about a 29 year old Katie who is not very pleased with how her life is going. She's trying to get a new restaurant up and running. As she looks back on past mistakes, she finds something that can help her change them. But every time she tries to change the past it goes from bad to worse. Very intriguing!

Cute! This wasn't the most wildly original or impactful story in the world, but it was a really fun, quick read. I also really liked the art style and found that the storyline wasn't at all repetitive, although the concept of redoing the past could often lend itself to being so.
I won this through a Good Reads Giveaway.
Being someone who normally wouldn't pick up a graphic novel, but already knowing Bryan Lee O'Malley's work from Scott Pilgrim, I was excited to get a copy! I really enjoyed both looking at and reading it. I liked Katie's story and character. as someone in my late twenties I can relate, by now we've all got something we really love and are really great at, but struggle with mistakes, things that have happened all while trying to get it together. I mean if anyone had the opportunity to undo things in the past, even trivial things we'd all do it in a heartbeat, without thinking it through at all, Katie was really human, with human needs and human desperation, human wants.
I liked the supernatural element, Lis, was pretty great, and tried to illustrate to katie what was going to happen. Although she didn't heed anything until she pretty much blew up the universe. But managed to repair her mistakes in the end. I kind of wish katies decisions had more concrete lasting consequences, the end wasn't as impactful as I would have liked it too be, it was getting close. But felt too wrapped up and tied off in the end.
But overall I enjoyed it. and will be keeping it on my bookshelf for the future. I would recommend it.

I don't read graphic novels much but the art was soooo nice!
3stelle e mezzo
