I really enjoyed this book, wasn't really sure what it was about going in but had heard lots of good things. I enjoyed the story and the artwork was great. definitely recommend.

There’s something about Bryan Lee O’Malley’s art that is such fun. Colourful, striking, and conveys the stories direction so well.
While it is indeed a fun (and often funny) tale. There’s a deeper side to it as well about choices, accepting the past (and future) and the consequences of not doing so, O’Malley can switch to quite dark in the blink of an eye.
I also really loved the relationship between Katie and the narrator, occasionally questioning each’s version of events.

Loved it! I had some small quibbles with the narrative voice, but overall this is such a good story, just the right blend of reality and unreality. Felt like a thoroughly american folk-tale. Incredibly well-paced, I barely put it down during reading, it read so well.

The first time my best friend visited me in my new home he brought with him a stack of graphic novels from his collection and pretty much demanded I read them as soon as possible.
So being the good friend I am, and the guilt trip he would give me if I didn't read them soon, I picked up Seconds.
I had no idea what it was about, all I knew was If my best friend liked it, I know I would as well.
So I dove in.
This was such a hilarious graphic novel with a creative plot, and filled with characters who are impossible not to like.
If the characters are relatable, sassy or hilarious It will not take me long to fall in love with them, and it only took me a few pages to fully love the characters in this books and get fully involved in the story.
As this was the first book by Bryan Lee O'Malley I have read I had no idea what to expect going in. after reading Seconds I am excited to read more of his graphic novels and get deeper into his humor and characters.
I would highly recommend this graphic novel to anyone wanting to get into graphic novels and don't know where to start or if you like them already and are just looking for something new to read... Just read it okay!

This graphic novel was cool to read. It's about a woman named Katie who is trying to get her life to be perfect. She is struggling to open her own restaurant, is dealing with people at work, and her ex boyfriend brings up all kinds of regret. When she gets the chance to redo days she messes up, she kind of overdoes it, but she does end up learning a lot.
I definitely liked the art and the way this story was told. There is a narrator but Katie does a lot of the story telling with her dialogue. The plot was pretty good, though I found the end to be a bit confusing, especially because of all the changes Katie was making. I loved Katie's character, but Hazel was maybe my favourite. I loved the message that this whole story brought up as well.
Highly recommended!
