Een graphic novel met goed uitgedachte karakters, humor en diepe thema's. Zeker een aanrader.

Es una ida de olla de principio a fin, me encanta

I thought this was fun! Very imaginative but Kaitie is kind of dumb. The humor is the same (obviously) as in the Scott Pilgrim series, which I also enjoyed. The book is gorgeous, including the cover with and without the dust jacket. All the illustration is well drawn and colorful. It was not really what I thought it’d be but, I don’t know that anyone could foresee the storyline of this book-in a good way. It does have a dark turn towards the end which it was building towards before the resolution at the end.

I really enjoyed this graphic novel. The story built at a good pace and then unfolded in an unpredictable manor. The end was nice and neat. Katie, the main character was very relatable with her outward words, the narrative about her actions, and her written thoughts. Read it in two sittings. Would recommend.

The book itself was beautiful, and I loved the comic style and layout.

Seconds is enjoyable and easy to read.
But I felt there was something missing. But like Lucknow, seconds has something special. The concept is interesting and there were some great ideas woven in. And the end seemed very quick... However I just finished the reading so I haven't gathered my full opinion.
All in all, seconds is fun, gorgeous and I would definitely reread.

Charming, original and relatable. Bryan Lee O'Malley is one of my favourite graphic novelists. Love his style, humour and this subtle Scott Pilgrim reference:

This book was so excellent! I have read the first two volumes of O'Malley's Scott Pilgrim series so I already knew I enjoy his style of graphic novels/comics. Seconds had a great character who was very likable and relatable. I love the different twists the plot turned, not exactly how I guessed it would turn out, which I loved! I also liked the friendship between Katie and Hazel, super sweet! O'Malley also breaks the fourth wall which is one of my favorite things!

ho-hum time shifting story that is too predictable to be truly enjoyed. this same guy did the scott pilgrim series which have long been on my list to read but, with this mediocre offering, I won't be getting to them any time soon.
