The best thing about this novel is the appealingly buoyant voice of Nick, the 16-year-old neurodiverse narrator. The story is a bit disjointed, and it takes Nick waaaaay too long to figure out what is obvious to the reader fairly early on. But it was still a blast to read. Lots of fun.

I loved this book so much! TJ always writes these characters who make me feel so many emotions, I laughed out several times and of course I cried too. All the characters were so charming and of course Nick was an adorable clueless dumbass. I can’t wait for the next one!
