it's my second go at babitz's work and i think the rating kind of explains itself when you factor in how long i took to finish this book. at first, the prose had me absolutely hooked, i couldn't put it down. but toward the end, i started getting bored and it got harder to complete this book. maybe it's time i admit that babitz is simply not for me?
