Apathetic about all of the characters and the plot. It’s taken me a month to read 140 pages. I think I’m only reading because I feel like I should like Babitz’ writing so will probably try her short story collection

like many others have said, there was not enough sex and there was not enough rage! actually there was very little of either. main character is a nepo baby and not a very interesting one at that. loved some of the character descriptions though + the prose was beautiful at times and i'm a sucker for good prose so had to give it the 3 stars
