Meh. This book was ok. The ending was a let down and tried to make connections with people that I had long forgotten about. There were too many characters mentioned and then forgotten about until the convent point at the end when they were useful again and you’re left wondering- wait… who was that again? Cool premise, flimsy execution
Fast-paced and gripping.
Charlotte meets croupier Sam on a cruise and, caught up in their whirlwind romance, she begins working on the same ships so they can be together. Before long, the novelty begins to wear off. The reality is a lot less glamorous than Charlotte had envisioned. She begrudges the stark comparison with the wealth and entitlement of the holidaymakers, and the amount of time and attention Sam lavishes on the female guests instead of spending his spare time with her. Their relationship starts to crumble and they part ways.
Out of the blue, Charlotte receives a message from Sam, followed by a series of anonymous threats, and her world is thrown upside-down all over again. Needing to escape the threats and blackmail before her whole life unravels, she takes a job aboard a luxury super yacht, but danger seems to follow her at every turn

Ooh, I liked how twisty this thriller was! I thought it was going one way and then bam! it went a different way and i was not expecting that.
This story started slow and continues to be slow throughout the whole book. On top of the slow pace of the story, Charlotte is a very underwhelming character. She has no personality. The plot is weak and not exciting at all. The ending was a letdown. Overall, I didn't like the book.

This book was fine, I get the plot but the writing was extremely boring and was so extended for no absolute reason!!! 😭
