The world building is flat. We aren't told enough about the world. And the parts we are shown have no why. There isn't enough detail to even attempt to fill in gaps with imagination.
Parts of the plot felt like so many other published fantasy books. To the point where I don't understand how so many books get published with the same elements.
I'm not sure I would call this romance. And the "consent" is shaky. Can you really consent when you've been taken from your home and the person is in a position of power over you? I don't think so.

This was a really boring and irritating read. The characters have zero depth. I don’t know their personalities or histories at all. Extremely, extremely bland and baseless character. The dialogue is horrible. World building non existent.
This is truly just a horny read (if you’re looking for smut you’ve got it!!) and could have easily had the characters be hockey players or something because there is literally zero word building.
Yawn!!
