This writing style kind of drove me crazy. Whenever Halen was like “you’re not making sense,” “you're talking in circles,” I was like yes. (But in my case, the problem was more than just Kallum.) The spice (once we got there) was right up my alley. Am unsure what’s going on with that plot twist….like damn okay but…why?? I didn’t really realize the full mystery wouldn’t be wrapped up in the first book, so onward we go I guess because I need answers.
