Ahhh what a way to leave us hanging!

This book - no, this series is fantastic! It’s impossible to live life when all I want to do is curl up under a warm blanket, tucked away with Locke and Key.

I can’t wait for book 3!

Devil's Hour was a great read, that was not only fast-paced, but had nice character growth. Plus, it was full of hot sex, but that didn't overtake what was an interesting case Royce, Sawyer and a select few of their team was investigating involving an arsonist, the city mayor and the strip joint Royce's friend and colleague is working undercover in. Yet, saying that the conclusion to the case did fall a little flat. But, I loved getting to know more of the characters in both Sawyer and Royce's life and of course learning more about Marcus. Who was Royce's closest friend and last partner and tragically committed suicide, leaving a wife, three children, and lots of unanswered questions, and I'm excited to see where that particular storyline goes, especially in light of the revelations towards the end of this book. And I'm certainly looking forward to reading more from this series and these characters in the future.

Would happily recommend.

I'm enjoying this series! Locke and Key are great together. I love that Walker wrote them as mature adults. They may get hurt feelings, but they talk about it and move on. The complete lack of angst is amazing.

Holy smokes! This was an excellent read. There was a huge development in the romance (extra steamy), the relationship, the professional sphere and the personal ties. The crime/mystery element was intriguing and held its own against the romance plot - especially when the plots were woven so well.

Yet there are many unanswered questions, for which I will hopefully uncover in book three.
