I read this one last, but since the books are set somewhat concurrently, there aren't really any spoilers. Though if I'd read this one first, I would have figured out sooner that not only is this series set in Michigan, it's set in a fictional version of Frankenmuth! It was fun to figure that out, and also to go along with Holly and Nick on their trip to Germany, since the town has a lot of German influence.
Note - each book in the series is first-person POV from the heroine only. I think this and the first book would have benefited from at least one chapter from the hero's POV to show that he was interested and not a jerk or a weirdo.

A Christmas obsessed girl has a boss she thinks is a Grinch but she discovers he loves Christmas just as much as she does. This book was okay. I thought Holly over reacted over everything Nick did. Probably 2 1/2 stars.

What’s not to love about this book?!!
It might be very short due to being a novella, but it sure packed a punch in all the feels. Hot grumpy boss, sweet innocent employee and a picturesque business trip to the wholly grail of Christmas towns!
Holly is all about Christmas, her whole family is, hence all the girls names. She loves her job working at the Flying Reindeer Toy Company until Nick Saint-Croix comes to take over from his retiring uncle to run the business. But he’s a grinch, Mr Scrooge himself, and some might even call him a jackal! Well that’s what Holly sees, because if she is honest with herself, she’d fall hard for him.
I had a great time just relaxing with this book and escaping into the world of a magical Christmas. Holly is adorable and her flustering will make you laugh. And Nick is not the jackal that Holly believes him to be, yeah he is a bit gruff but with good reason. The way he is attentive to her on their business trip and how he shows her the markets.... swoon! I do wish it was a little longer as I loved these two a lot, it would have been a great slow burn novel, but it takes nothing away from how wrapped up this book is in a short time. Looking forward to the sisters stories.

“Okay, but just for the record, you were the only thing I wanted for Christmas.”
This was a sweet and swoony little Holiday novella. Holly and Nick have a cute little office romance that begins on a holiday work trip.
I laughed and smiled and rolled my eyes and smiled some more. My only very minor complaint is I was so confused why Holly didn’t like Nick in the first place. She gives minor reasons, but we never witness any real reasoning for her unerring dislike of him.
“Why are you like this? We were raised by nice people. You do not have a tragic backstory, Holly. Nick is not a villian.”
Her sister nailed it on the head, and made me laugh though. I look forward to reading the other Winter sister stories!

“Just for the record, you were the only thing I wanted for Christmas.”
Reading Christmas novels, or novellas in the case of the Reindeer Falls collection, might be my new favorite way to kick off the holiday season.
‘The Boss Who Stole Christmas’ is the first in the Reindeer Falls series. It features Christmas enthusiast Holly Winter and her hot, grinchy boss Nick Saint-Croix. Holly is doing her best to maintain her holiday spirit despite her boss’s grumpiness. The last thing she wants is to fly to Germany with him just weeks before Christmas, but it seems there may be more to Nick than Holly assumes.
There isn’t a lot of depth to this story, but it’s a quick, funny, steamy read filled with all sorts of Christmas references and Yuletide treats-from holiday markets to inappropriate advent calendars. It’s a perfect book to read during a quiet moment in front of the Christmas tree while you take a break from the holiday hustle and bustle.

Definitely less sexy than what Jana has me used to, but really sweet and appropriate for this season. Funny too.
I liked it and I’m looking forward to Ginger’s story.

“Kissing Nick is like finding out that Santa is coming twice this year. And he's bringing things you didn't even think about putting on your list.”
“You were the only thing I wanted for Christmas."
Synopsis:
When Holly’s boss suggests a business trip to Nuremberg, Germany to visit the inspiration for their Teddy Bear Cafe, Holly comes up with every excuse she can think of to skip the trip. After all, there is no way she wants to have that much alone time with the hot and sexy “Grinch of Reindeer Falls”.
For every excuse Holly comes up with, Nick has a great counter argument and eventually there’s just not getting out of it. So off to Germany they go, where holiday romance isn’t hard to find.
My Thoughts: The following are my thoughts about this book:
* * I don’t know if the descriptions of Germany were accurate or not, but to somebody who doesn’t know better (i.e. Me) I very much felt like I was in Germany. I could picture the market and picture myself there.
