Nope. I wouldn't mind a book about being helpful but this way overshoots the mark. It expects too much responsibility from a young child and even includes pages about not asking parents for help with homework because they're too busy with other siblings.

Nope. Why is it helpful to not have support when your math homework is hard?

I absolutely hated the message that this poor child shouldn't need any help and should be busy helping her parents all the time with the new kids, or figuring out her own stuff because her parents are busy. Big old nope from me.
