I read the English translation of this for the first time years ago and devoured it in one sitting. I decided to reread it in Spanish and I had the same experience of being completely captivated from start to finish. Chilling story masterfully told.

Uf, qué onda cómo escribe esta autora. Su narración parte de hechos tan normales, pero se vuelve tan rápidamente inquietante, que no deja de sorprenderme. Una madre y su hija, unas vacaciones en el campo, otra madre y su hijo con actitudes perturbadoras. La sensación de que algo terrible va a pasar.

Encontré que quedaban varios cabos sueltos, por eso las cuatro estrellas. Quedé con ganas de discutirlo por si alguien más aquí lo leyó.
