es PERFECTO. No puedo explayarme más porque es imposible para mí escribir todo lo que me hizo sentir este libro. He dormido solo tres horas debido a la ansiedad de saber lo que sucedería en los siguientes capítulos. Lo devoré muy a mi pesar porque quería que durase más, pero mi obsesión por la historia fue mucho más fuerte que ceder al sueño.
En fin, léanlo. C. S. Pacat se acaba de ganar un lugar en mi minúsculo y lúgubre corazón.

this book is ten thousand times better than the first one in the series. i loved laurents character development the most!!!!!

Aright Captive Prince, you’ve wow’ed me again.
Though I’ve only given it four stars, I still care very much for the series. The plot intrigues me, the characters are very well developed and the last half of the book was what kept my review high.
The first half was a little boring, more towards the middle. I’m not sure what it was but I wasn’t interested as much as I was the first time. With that being said, it was still amazing. On to the next one.

Seré breve en esta reseña; esta segunda parte inicia casi en el momento en el que terminó el anterior y, caramba, ese final definitivamente me explotó la cabeza.
El desarrollo y la evolución tanto de los personajes como de la historia es una de las mejores que he leído, se realiza (en cuanto a los personajes) poco a poco, cada uno dando un poco más de sí a medida que avanzaba el libro. En cuanto a la evolución de la historia, pues sí, ha mejorado de la mejor manera, hay traiciones, planes, peleas, y conspiraciones. Es un amasijo de encrucijadas, no sabes qué pasará luego o qué movimiento tendrán que hacer los demás bandos, simplemente no sabes qué esperar. Cada vez que leía los planes que realizaba Laurent sin avisarle a nadie, o la manera en la que puede preveer los siguientes movimientos mientras él realiza los suyos me hace acordar mucho a Celaena Sardothien (de Trono de Cristal) o Kaz Brekker (de Seis de Cuervos), los tres tienen una manera de planificar que se asemejan.
Es cierto que el libro se me estaba haciendo eterno a pesar de que en realidad es corto, sentía que leía una hora y cuando me daba cuenta solo había leído menos de veinte páginas y solo habían pasado quince minutos, pero cuando comenzó la acción de verdad, no pude despegarme ni aunque quisiera.
Me ha gustado mucho más que el anterior, y sé que el tercero me sorprenderá más (o eso espero). ¿Y ese final? Increíble, no era como yo esperaba que pasaría, y me emocionó de una muy grata manera.

OH BOY YALL THIS BOOK UPPED THE GAME.
I liked the first book a lot. but guys let me say I LOVED this one. I loved seeing different sides of Damen and Laurent, seeing them outside the court, interacting with different people and situations. I loved all the twists and turns! I gasped aloud several times. CHAPTER 19 had me fanning myself I swear... and that ending. wow. full review will be up as soon as I collect myself!!!
