So, is Nevio telling Aurora that he knows she didn't date someone else because she was taking care of the baby he had with another woman? fucking audacity.

Serafina must be the worst mother to beg Aurora to be with her manipulative son. Remo is a shitty father for not knowing how to set limits on his brat.
Nevio is selfish and not in a sexy way. FuckNevio you can't control, manipulate, and be possessive with Aurora when you fuck so much that now you have another woman's child and it occurs to you to leave it to that poor girl who has been pining for you for years. This doesn't look like a romance book from 2024.

The book would have been better if Aurora (she's stupid) married someone in the Famiglia and stayed there. Fabiano, pick up your things and don't let them make fun of you so much behind your back.

And Fabiano is so weak, because my father would burn the world if an idiot manipulated me into being a babysitter.

By the way, never say that the Falcones are the example of loyalty and family. Not when Nevio, he abandoned his baby. The entire Falcone family construction went to waste.

And to all those who say "that Nevio had a son is not the problem..." STOP THERE you crazy b1tch.
In a romance story, the trope of "getting another woman pregnant," when the protagonists already know each other and the heroine is in love with him is disgusting. No worse than being an irresponsible parent, but still the shit.
It would have been different if Nevio had just met Aurora when he had a baby in his arms but not!
And that shit happens when the story is already very advanced. It would have been so different if Nevio was faced with the fact that he is a dad in the first chapter... (still shit because Aurora has always been in love with him, but at least we wouldn't have witnessed that)

Leaving all this aside... Aurora and Nevio had no chemistry. They seemed forced. They were bland. Even the "cute" scenes.
If I had to recognize the positive of this book, it is the appearances of the Famiglia. And Carlotta/ Alessio/ Massimo. Everyone except Nevio and Aurora carried the book on their shoulders.
