At the start, Juliette has reverted to her previous self where she’s whiny and reluctant to do anything. Overall she continues to grow, Warner also continued to grow but Adam’s character in the book did not receive much development. The world has not changed much but definitely learned of the surroundings more now. The plot is really well done, it’s really fast paced and a love triangle starts to establish it self.

SPOILERS

SpoilerIt was really frustrating at the very start where Adam was hiding something from Juliette and she just kept pushing it away and never really came to ask about it.

The scene were Juliette said Shakespeare spelled her name wrong, it made me laugh so much.

I'm surprised that Warner hat the ability to redirect others powers? I was also surprised that Warner and Adam have the same father.

When Juliette lost herself to rage and just smashed Anderson into the wall and almost killed him. Wow.

It didn't make sense at the end where Anderson got the healers to his house but immediately left for the capital after shooting Juliette?

I really have grown to love Kenji as a character, his humour and his care for everyone really warms my heart.

Castle and Kenji's relationship is really interesting. I really want to learn more of that.

I don't know if I ship Juliette with Adam or Warner. With Adam she is just really just hurting him. Warner is just pessimistic and really has disbelief in himself.

James has the power to heal himself? What?!

This book is really shifting back to the dystopian timeline.

I wonder what happened to Adam, Kenji and Castle?

Juliette is still a bit annoying? I'm getting used to the writing style though.

I don't know but I kept skipping all the parts about Juliette's journal?

That’s all I have to say. Feel free to approach me and talk to me !
