Ah this reread just reignited my love for warner
I was about to get really annoyed with Juliette’s self deprecating chapters but I’m glad she’s finally settling into herself and learning to put down some roots despite everything that she’s gone through.

Usually I don't like sequels, but I was really into this one especially because I liked Warner from the beginning and though I like Adam just fine I figured it wouldn't work between them. I really liked meeting the people at Omega Point too! The only thing I disliked was how stubborn Juliette was, she was so determined to stay inside herself, but eventually she did start to gain confidence which made up for it. This book is fantastic and I'm excited for what's next.

2/5 meh. i wanted to love this more, but it felt like it dragged under the weight of juliette’s inner turmoil. the love triangle took center stage, sidelining the actual plot, and the repetitive, overly poetic writing style made it hard to stay engaged. the "big reveal" between warner and adam was fine, but the pacing was slow, and juliette's growth felt inconsistent. not sure if i will continue this series right now.

I will not be continuing this series. I tried. This book she and Adam are at a camp with others that have special abilities like her. They have been testing Adam to see if he has any abilities since he can touch her.
