I enjoy Lala on VPR, she’s one of my favorites… so I thought I’d love the book! Unfortunately, it hasn’t aged well! If I had listened to this/read it before the recent occurrences with RE, I probably would’ve loved it!! However, knowing what I know now? Yikes. Not a good look. I liked some parts, but in general? Not that great.

I am biased, I LOVE LALA! Give me all the Lala. And the Lauren from Utah. I don’t know why I didn’t read this until now. Unfortunately since I’m reading at a time that the book has become dated, there are obvious references to a relationship that does not go as planned but all the more reason to give Lala another book deal! I enjoyed reading about her childhood / years before VPR SOOOO much. I thought this was so much more honest and I hate to say it, so less contrived than the ‘Basic’ series by Stassi (which DON’T get me wrong: I’m an OG Stassi stan from the moment she said “I’m the devil and don’t you forget it”) - Bravo fans, whether you love or hate Lala, you deserve to give her a chance to hear her perspective and give this one a read!

I have loved Lala since the first time she graced the screens on Vanderpump Rules. When I found out about her book I knew I had to read it because I wanted to know more about this feisty woman that I felt like I understood so much just by watching what she was going through and how she reacted on tv. After listen to the audiobook of Give Them Lala I was overwhelmed with so many emotions. I laughed and cried and I felt a connection to someone I’ve never meet before because of the things they have been through and being able to truly know how those things feel having gone through them myself. Lala didn’t shy away or hide anything when she wrote this book and I truly appreciate her for it.
