The Lost Metal

An explosive and emotional finale to the second era. The stakes are massive, the character payoffs are perfect, and it sets up some major connections to the wider Cosmere. A worthy conclusion that left me both satisfied and wanting more.

Favorite Quotes:

“Heroes don’t accept the world the way it is. They fight to make it better.”
“We all leave scars, Wax. Good or bad, we all change the people we meet.”

Had to re-read the first three Wax and Wayne books given how long this took to finally exist. Worth it. Heck of a a finish there; fantastic book.

Spoiler I can't believe Sando killed off Wayne. It's bittersweet, but still a bummer.

This book, or rather this arc of the Mistborn series, has some of my most liked and disliked characters of the Cosmere. That said, they all got a fitting end in this last book of the second arc and I had to shed a tear even. The only reason it is not a five star book, to me, is because of a small annoyance in the writing style I started noticing, which made it genuinely hard to get through some chapters. But it's a very subjective annoyance, so definitely worth a read!

les quiero muchísimo a todos. los epílogos han sido geniales y wayne siempre estará en mi corazoncito, es el mejor
