A beautiful and fitting conclusion to Era 2 of the Mistborn series.

Now we wait for Ghostbloods.

Mixed on this, but liked it overall.

I really disliked the two previous books in the series, so in a way this is a major improvement and I enjoyed it a lot more, besides liking Alloy of Law more. Wayne is a lot more tolerable and the balance between POV's is a lot better.

On the other hand, what Sanderson does here feels almost too similar to Rise of Skywalker, where he brings in a bunch of new characters, a new big villain who has supposedly been working in the shadows this whole time, as well as bringing back familiar characters. Some of these elements have been built up a little bit, but it feels cheap and unplanned for the last book to reveal that something else has actually been going on the whole time.

Sanderson mentioned that he's opened the flood gates of the Cosmere for this book and it's true, but Era 2 being as weak as it is does not feel deserving of it.

With the Era over, it's too bad to likely never see most of these characters again, but I'm glad its one step closer to getting the Nightblood book and Era 3 Mistborn.
