Some parts of this book felt rushed and too jam-packed. The onslaught of nonstop obstacles was a bit overwhelming, but I enjoyed the brief reprieves of a few quiet moments between Wax and Wayne and Marasi’s introduction to some exciting characters. I feel like I have some unanswered questions when it comes to Marasi’s storyline, which is unsatisfying. However, the end made me cry and laugh out loud, which I love. Also, the various connections to other Cosmere stories were super exciting!!!! And I’m very intrigued for what the future holds for Scadrial in era 3.

Sanderson said you know about the cosmere? Yeah it's not just Hoid anymore. Such a good end. To a great series.
