I wish we saw more from the people in the previous books, it seemed like Juliette was forming relationships with them and I was excited to see how they would end up, but never did.

At first I was disappointed in Juliette for being so quick to run when Warner told her the truth and for claiming that he knew the whole time and not trying to understand him because imo he told her as soon as he could once he found everything out.

And then the whole Lena thing.

This was a fun an quick read.

It acutually picked up pretty well after the author "finished" the trilogy and now continued years later with this.

The introduction of "the kids" felt fun and natural to me. I liked the backstory the author created for the characters.

It felt a little forced to not have Aaron remember any of the sisters even though they knew each other and played together. Well, the Reestablishment has ways to manipulate memory, so that's convenient. Anyways, felt weird that he'd fall in love with one and torture another and not remember them.

Aww, now Emmaline begging Aaron to be let go or be killed hurts more. Because she most likely remembers.

I read this book so fast that I didn't really have time to dwell on the slow/annoying parts, but there were some. Mostly Juliette being insecure and whiny.

Over all the book was good and I do think I'll finish the series.
