I love the direction this took. The issue of HIV was unexpected and it made the story real. Great work!

Holy macaroni! This was GOOD! This was beautiful, sad, good and more. The subject, HIV, is not easy but the writer did such a great job. She handled it with care, let me feel, let me cry and let me want to cuddle both Aaron and Jeremy.

Oh and did I tell you that there is an amazing brother? Oh and some condom flavor testing? So what are you waiting for? Read it!

Another favourite from this years Love's Landscapes event.
Aaron and Jeremy meet when both are at an STD clinic for tests after their unfaithful partners have tested HIv positive. Both are devastated at the deceptions and at the possibility of being exposed to infection.
I liked that after their initial meeting, they continued to develop a friendship and eventually a relationship - though the identity of the 'boyfriends' was not so much of a surprise given the clues!
Just enjoyed the development of the story.

A well-written story depicting the time between initial HIV testing after possible exposure and the follow-up test 3 months later for two young men. The characters were both interesting and simpatico. And even though I knew the "twist" right away (what can I say - I'm a cynical old broad), the storytelling kept me reading to see how it all played out. Well done!
