I enjoyed it after I got a third of the way through. The beginning felt very slow, but I really want to watch the movie so I powered through it. I ended up really liking Ian and Wanda together (romantic at heart, main reason why I read books). Idk why Wanda had to be put into a 16 year olds body lol and she lied about her age. Why couldn’t she have been 18? lol. So innocent and pure, my butt. Wanda is thousands of years old. I’m glad she found her soulmate though.

Hands down, this was amazing. From the agony between morality and justice, to simply life and death. This book had everything that Twilight really couldn't deliver. I guess Stephanie Meyer really stepped up her game here.

It made for a very interesting read on humanity, and just human beings interactions and thoughts in general. I really did have quite a few moments of revelations. I guess that's why it was so good, because it just wan't another dystopian novel about changing the world back and building a romantic relationship between the two characters. Wanderer was of a different species and she stuck to her roots through and through, which is what I appreciated.

I loved the ending, though it was slightly predictable. It was just perfect.

I'm not even sure if this "review" really made any sense but I'm definitely going to be writing a full review soon.

I heard so many mixed reviews about this book, I wasn't sure what to think. I really, really liked it. Okay, it took me a while to get into it (and some of the worlds were quite weird), but once I did I was hooked. I think she's great at bringing her characters to life. Great story, great ending.

I love Stephenie Meyer. Idk why. Her writing is like junk food for my brain.

Does this book have major issues with gender roles, motherhood, and martyrdom? Hell yeah. I still like Steph's little centipede aliens.

Terrible. Insufferable. Not only boring but wildly unsettling themes for a YA novel. I will never let my daughters read this book. Stephanie Meyers stripped her main character of her free will and romanticized inappropriate relationships TWICE. Annoying characters with no growth. Weirdly simple plot for a 600 page book. I couldn’t bring myself to read multiple chapters of this book.

Grateful that the rest of the series is seemingly unfinished.

listen.......this book is so good. idc.
