i railed against twilight's writing but was engaged enough to enjoy it. i was expecting the same from this, but it's a far better written book, and was a good read!
The author of the Twilight series has written a book about kind-hearted body snatchers. One of them happens to be given a body where the former occupant won't "leave" and so they both just kind of are in there, feeling and remembering what the other one does. Different premise, huh? I thought it was pretty good, interesting read. But it's one of my pet peeves when women are so self-sacrificing, and Wanda the alien is out of control when it comes to that. Sheesh, care about yourself for once! URRG. You don't let yourself get slapped around because you don't want to hurt someone's feelings, physically or emotionally. But still, it was a different story, and I thought she did a good job writing it and making the characters believable. Oh, but I thought it should have ended differently. A little too neat. I guess I only liked it, didn't love it.

After reading and hating Twilight, I was surprised to not hate this book nearly as much. It was slow, and I didn’t always like Wanda’s choices, but overall I did want to keep reading.
My second time reading this book. It was just as wonderful as the first. For those of you who think that this is just another "invasion of the body snatchers", you are truely mistaken!!!! I can't wait for the movie.......
