It was nice

I didn't give this book 4 stars because it lacked anything. It just annoyed me how long it took the protagonists to communicate their feelings and such. The paternity twist was certainly surprising.

A little too melodramatic and too abrupt of a HEA

I am not really sure what made me finish this book, because practically all of the characters were horrible. Even the heroine made me a little annoyed. BLEH.

I enjoyed it but not as interested in the next book as I was in other series.

Meh

Yet another rollercoaster ride! Adrian is a dark complex character and meets his match in Lilliana.

Their relationship goes through the whole spectrum - from indeference to hatred to all consuming love. Adrian's past is haunting him, making him believe that emotions are to be suppressed and ignored. Lilliana's upbringing makes her think that if only she behaves as a proper lady would, her husband would come to care for her. They are both mistaken and realize it themselves with lessons learned the hard way.

I really enjoyed this book as well and I'm looking forward to reading Julian's story next.
