The story was beautiful and simple, but I didn't like the writingstyle.
It was so confusing bc the story tells about then and now, but there was no title or a notice thats says it happened then or now.
You figure it out by yourself in the middle of the paragraph. That was a bit tiring too.

I was surprised by this book in the end, I wasn’t sure I was going to like it when I began. The whiplash of past to present with no warning is almost enough to make you just stop reading, but if you power through it ends up being a sweet story.

I am however confused as to why it’s considered a thriller, I wouldn’t put it in that genre.

This is a very compelling book, but it only gets three stars because I was waiting for the other shoe to drop…and when it did, it was pretty lacklustre. Felt like a lot of missed opportunities!
