I was hooked on this book from the beginning. Myonly drawback was that I felt like some important things weren't tied up and the ending was lacking for me.

Did not finish. Only read 144 pages. Felt like the story was going nowhere and I kept having to force myself to read another paragraph. Couldn’t convince myself to keep going

Really good thriller! Very dark but intriguing premise. I enjoyed the writing style and the many twists. Predicted the final big twist
about Evie
that's fine as i enjoyed the reveal. Chilling storyline around child abuse and religious family-cult, so not for the fainthearted. Personally liked the references to the north, although Blackpool was mentioned in a grave light, it did make me smile due to personal connections. Didn't score higher as the timeline was a little confusing as the sections jumped around. Would recommend and will keep an eye out for more from the author.

Intense and pretty dark at times, but certainly interesting. Found it a bit convoluted with jumping time frames without warning - listening on audio made me double back a few times. Can see why it has some hype around it.
