Alex continues to grow and mature, as he should based on his experiences (Richelle Mead could take lessons from Anthony Horowitz). This was a kickass book; interesting storyline, challenging plot, great ending. Can't wait for the next (last) mission.

So good! Lots of crazy adventures, missions, and plenty of terrible really evil plans for Alex!

This is one of my favorite middle reader series and I've recommended it to MANY kids. Paired with an audiobook this series is guaranteed to grab reluctant readers and sometimes provide that crucial experience that makes them enthusiastic readers.
This last book in the series is no disappointment. Alex is once again roped into the espionage life he is trying so desperately to leave. He is just too good at it. Once he is involved by M16, he cannot turn his back on a potential plague in Africa, caused by the development of genetically modified wheat.
Alex Rider uses the cool spy tools and his own ingenuity to outsmart the bad guys every time. You gotta love him.
