This was such a fantastic read. All the characters are so fleshed out and relatable and tragic in their own ways. Highly recommend the audiobook!

The prose didn’t do it for me. Every sentence was stretched out unnecessarily, some descriptions were really gross for no reason and some words felt really out of place within a book that tries to feel very literary (the word ‘tits’ came up 3 times already). One character speaks ‘cool’ English but his sentences often make little sense to me, but at the same time the other characters feel indistinguishable. The story itself isn’t bad whatsoever, but the prose meant I wasn’t enjoying reading this.
