How do you describe this story? A family saga where Hawai'i is both the setting and a main character. A heartbreaking story about broken expectations. The ties that bind us to family and home. This book has sibling rivalry, nature, college basketball, PNW weather, stupid mistakes, resilience... it is captivating, breathtaking, tragic, beautiful, and unique.

Highly recommend the audiobook with 5 different narrators capturing the voice of each character.
