I have no clue who Phyllis Posnick is, I don't read Vogue (so not my thing), but I do love photography and books like this. So in the bag it went (and LORD it is heavy). It was quite an interesting book about someone named Phyllis who works or worked at Vogue. We read about the photographers they worked with, with models, and how they made all sorts of photographs and editorials that fit perfectly with an article. Often with books like this I am not a fan of stories next to photographs, but I found myself reading and often enjoying those parts. The photographs varied from pretty to WTF let me just flip that page quickly before I have nightmares. Some stuff was just too weird. I would have rather had pretty pictures than the weird/wtf/why pictures.
But all in all, I am happy I found this book at the library and got the chance to check it out.
