I went through a roller coaster of emotions I think this is probably one of the worst books I’ve read this year. The MMCs are not written the best I think the best written character out of the 3 MMCs is Mika. If I could give this a lower star I would.

Okay it was annoying that a lot of this book was just Scream From Us with different POVs. I had JUST read scream for us so I skipped through some of the FMCs sections that were literally just repeats.
That being said, I did enjoy getting more backgrounds on the main characters, and having a more mysterious plot line be explored and built. I fell more in love with the characters and the story. I still do recommend this book I would just advise either skipping the novella before it (you still get all POVs and the story in this book) or waiting awhile after the novella before staring the full book series.
~ Masked men, morally grey, why choose, bisexual representation, sexual awakening ~

Meeste van de scenes zaten al in “scream for us” dus t was veel overslaan omdat ik t niet nog een keer wilde lezen.. wel leuk plot!! In scream for us zaten wat scenes waarvan ik dacht ‘huh waar is die? Waarom gaat de deur open?’ Ezoovoorts en dat is hier helemaal opgehelderd!!

I loved getting the boys’ POV. It was very smutty and I enjoyed it.

This book was a lot of fun, but I was not expecting 50% of the book to be a retelling of the novella Scream for Us from different POVs.

In this full-length why-choose novel, we get a background on the tough childhoods of Damien, Jensen, and Micah, and we're introduced to the Order of the Unseen. This Order is how they first "met" Quinn, and provides some more background as to why they are so protective over her. Then we see a replaying of events from Halloween night and the day after, and finally some new content after that.

I really liked the introduction of MM in this novel, since it was clear to me that Damien and Quinn were the most solid within the foursome. Micah and Jensen definitely had the chemistry and it made my heart happy that they have each other. Even though the plot was repetitive, I liked the Order of the Unseen a lot, I think it gave the boys a lot more depth.

And don't worry, the spice was still there and HOT.
