Ever since I read that one scene with Emmet & Blakely in [b:Help Me Remember|61028316|Help Me Remember (Rose Canyon, #1)|Corinne Michaels|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1651618466l/61028316._SY75_.jpg|95582841], I wanted to read their book so bad. And I admit that this couple has quickly become my favourite! This book has a badass military medic heroine who is afraid to love someone in the fear of losing them because she has already suffered so many loses in her life and a an ex-military now turned sheriff hero who would go to any lengths to keep her safe even when she left him (but he still loves her so much though he's a bit angry at her which was understandable). Emmet & Blake's love story with marriage of convenience was all consuming, full of action, mystery and suspense. It was one hell of a thrilling ride which I thoroughly enjoyed! I loved all the side characters including the original ones- Spencer, Brielle, Holden and some other new additions. I am hoping to see more of them in [a:Corinne Michaels|7753662|Corinne Michaels|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1424618517p2/7753662.jpg]'s future works because they were so well constructed and I want to learn more of their individual stories (especially Charlie). I won't giveaway the entire plot but the blurb is only the fraction of it. I was left shocked and surprised by the constant twists, which kept me engaged throughout. I adored Blake so much. She was mischievous, witty, smart and strong. And Emmett was just as playful, clever and drool worthy! They were such a perfect match for each other because their connection was just spectacular! This book was remarkably phenomenal and I will always love and remember Emmet & Blakely!

I just love Emmett! He met is match with Blakely! They took their time getting there, but they finally did! Thank goodness for their HEA. I love the mystery that is part of the love story, nice balance between the two. I love all the feels in this book. I can't wait for the rest of the series.
How do I put to words the emotional damage Corinne Michaels just unleash on my poor heart. Holy cow! Give Me Love was incredible! The suspense, the swoons, the banter, the chemistry and the twists! I couldn't get enough. Emmett and Blakely were amazing together. Even after so much time apart, there was this undeniable pull between them. I loved them and I loved this book. One of my top reads of the year!

Love reading stories by Corinne. It is always a comfortable read. I love when she sprinkles in previous characters in the same world. You could see that they have deep feelings for each other. I especially loved Emmett's dad in the story. The story comes alive from the first sentence until the end.
If you are looking for your next one sit read look no further!! I absolutely loved this book! Once I started this one I couldn’t put it down!!! In true Corinne Michaels fashion you will feel like your heart got ripped out, but in the end everything will be okay! You also get suspense and a bit of a mystery too! I loved Emmett and Blakely! They will have you laughing one minute and reaching for the tissues the next!! This was another book that I wasn’t ready for it to end! Especially how the epilogue left off! It’s not a cliffhanger per say but it will definitely make you want the next book in the series now!! I absolutely recommend this book!

Having already faced too much loss in her life, when things started to feel too real for Blakely, she panicked and cut all ties.
Years later, while searching for a missing girl as a private investigator, Blakely is led to Emmett’s hometown. Although they realize they still have feelings for each other, now the missing person case is endangering both of their lives and it may be too late for their dreams together to come true.
I completely fell for Blakely and Emmett! Blakely is such an independent, intelligent, badass female, and I empathize so much with her having a hard time loving someone when she has lost so many people close to her. Emmett is so protective and patient, but his hesitancy with Blakely when she already broke his heart is also so understandable. They’re both such strong, wonderful characters, plus I loved getting to revisit some of my other favorites Spencer, Brielle, and Holden!
This is such a great friends to enemies to lovers, second chance, small town romance, but it’s also an amazing suspense romance! Corinne Michaels is a master of suspense! Another major part of the plot is the developing missing person case, which left them both as key targets and had my heart racing (and breaking)! Give Me Love releases September 27th, and I can’t wait to read Holden’s story next!!

Give Me Love was one that had me hooked before I even started the book thanks to the way the previous book ended. With Emmett being so against all of Spencer's secrets, but then it turns out he's hiding a whole WIFE?! Yup. Need it.
I really enjoyed how much Blake tested him as a partner. She was ready to put her life on the line for a girl she didn't even know, and naturally she pulled Emmett in as well.
I had a slight heart attack at a certain part, but I was ultimately very happy with the book ending and can't wait to dive into the next one!

Loved reading Emmett and Blake’s story!! We know about their relationship on the previous book so I was dying to know about their relationship and their past. They were friends for years and I loved their banter and interactions, even though they didn’t see each other for almost 3 years. They had some things to discuss at first but it was obvious they still cared about each other and their chemistry was there from the beginning.
Blake had lost a lot of people so she was hesitant to be more with Emmett, that’s why she tried to push him away in the past. She had a case that took her to Emmett’s hometown and there they reunited again. They shared a lot of things but despite their past they still acted as a married couple. They bickered a lot but I loved their moments together and how they started getting closer again.
