I didn’t know that this whole time I was saying romance books aren’t for me anymore it was because I hadn’t picked up a survivor romance…

This book was absolutely a dream beach read for me. But I’m also sure I would have loved if it I read it anywhere at any time too.

The heart of this book was the characters, Zeke and Lexi had my HEART from the first page. I don’t think I’ve ever related to both characters in a romance so much. I felt myself in Zeke and in Lexi, being in the middle of both their ages felt like I was exactly where I needed to be.

I also loved that this was an age gap romance. I didn’t know that going in and Î absolutely loved that Lexi was the older one. It’s nice to reverse tropes like that usually it’s the man who’s older getting the sexy young girl I’m her 20s. This was refreshing.

I also loved the high stakes and scenes at sea. They were my favorite. The coming home part and slight miscommunication trope almost had me bumping this down a star but honestly I cried at the end and I loved it. Why be a Debby downer when I genuinely have been savoring this book?

Honestly I could go on and on about this book but you should just read it. And if you don’t love, don’t tell me because I don’t want anything to taint it for me!
