Ye gods. I feel like my feelings for some of the characters, like Yasu and Nobu and Takumi, have become more nuanced with each read. Miu and Yuri too. I have a greater appreciation for their complexities and less blind love or indifference toward them. Probably Naoki too. I still unrepentantly love Reira, Ren, Shin and Nana and Nana. And the end is of the last two volumes is, as ever, heartbreaking. Ugh, my love for this manga knows no bounds.

Ok, I am reviewing this last chapter to do justice for this manga that I loved. I need to rant about this manga since I've watched some of its video clips and aaaargh, I miss this manga but it is so heart breaking that I don't think I can read it at this moment. This manga has one of my favourite otps that I will ship forever, that is Nana O. and Yasu! They should be together even though Ren(Nana's sorta fiance) and her are destined together. But, Yasu, he is the best character in this manga series. He is totally in love with Nana, cared her a lot but he didn't make a move on Nana because of his friendship with Ren. This is more devastating when Yasu dates Miu, I mean, WTF?! Nana too loves Ren more than as a brother, she and Yasu are mutually attracted to each other and yet why?? Just get that shit over and be together, damn it! Yasu and Nana!!!! AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!

Nana is one of my favourite mangas EVER! The storyline and premise is pretty original, and it's also covers a lot of sensitive topics.

The last volume (the series is on hiatus) was a shock. I didn't see it coming. I thought all the tragedy would be with Nana and her going missing, but I never quite expected there to be other major tragedies. I woke up early this morning to finish reading this manga, and by breakfast my eyes were puffy and my glasses and cheeks were stained with tears! THIS VOLUME IS EMOTIONAL!

Nevertheless, I loved it. This is one of those mangas that I would recommend to pretty much anyone. It's fantastic. And don't worry, although the series was abruptly put on hiatus due to the authors health issues (Get well soon Ai Yazawa!), the story could really end here. There would be unanswered questions, but I would still feel satisfied. I want more volumes, but I'm happy with where it ends really... it leaves you wanting to know more, but not DYING to know more.

Basically. I loved it. Everyone, read it now!
