Lore Olympus Volume 7 earns a solid 3.5 stars for continuing the emotional unraveling of Persephone’s past while deepening the complexities of her evolving relationship with Hades. This volume leans heavily into trauma recovery, showcasing Persephone’s therapy sessions and giving much-needed weight to her internal struggles after Apollo’s assault. While the pacing is slower than previous installments, it allows for more introspection and healing, which feels necessary and respectful. However, some moments feel overly drawn out or repetitive, slightly dulling the momentum. Hades remains a steady presence, and their moments together continue to shine with quiet intensity. Overall, Volume 7 is an important, if less thrilling, chapter that prioritizes emotional growth over dramatic plot turns.

This is getting so good!! I am loving the big trial aspect of this - it’s very interesting, plus it’s also giving me the history from previous volumes that I’d forgotten and why we end up with Persephone on trial in the first place
